Lima Empanadas has its roots in the meeting between Peru and Denmark. What began as a small Peruvian café in Aarhus has evolved into a concept centred around handmade empanadas, original recipes and traditional flavours. In Østerbro, Araceli and Juan are the ones who bring this little corner full of flavour to life every day, and who have now chosen to bring that same spirit to our project, contributing food, warmth and genuine commitment to the event. Their contribution is a wonderful example of how local businesses, and especially the people who make them possible, can help turn solidarity into concrete action and real support. Beauty & Relax by Emma

Emma Muñoz’s professional journey has been shaped by different countries, cultures and approaches to personal care. More than 17 years of experience and training across Latin America have shaped her own distinctive approach, bringing together cosmetology, massage, aromatherapy and traditional knowledge around one central idea: beauty and wellbeing are part of the same kind of care. Today, at Beauty & Relax by Emma in Copenhagen, she translates that philosophy into personalised treatments designed to care for the body and skin while creating a genuine sense of wellbeing. For our initiative, Emma is contributing a gift card for one of her treatments to our solidarity raffle. We love having a prize that also offers an invitation to slow down for a moment and be looked after. Because after running for others, one lucky winner will get to enjoy a little care for themselves.

Casa de España en Copenhague

For several years, Casa de España has been creating a meeting point in Copenhagen where Spanish culture, traditions and a strong sense of community bring Spain a little closer. The association is built on volunteering and a shared desire to connect, help and create things together. That is why we are especially happy to have them with us for Social Run for Spain 2026. Casa de España joins us with plenty of enthusiasm and, above all, something essential to making this project possible: people willing to lend a hand. Their volunteers will be there with us on the day, showing that solidarity is not only measured by what we donate, but also by the time, energy and commitment we choose to give to others.

Chorines

Chorines carries a little piece of Spain in its very name. It refers to a family from a small village in Ávila, where several generations made chorizo, and to values that still shape the business today: warmth, humility, hard work and respect for Spanish traditions. Chorines is run by Michael Hansen, who has been involved in gastronomy from a young age and whom many Danes may also recognise from MasterChef Denmark 2024 on TV3 and Viaplay, where he reached 11th place in the competition. Now Michael and Chorines are joining our big event in October, bringing their food and enthusiasm to the day. And there is something particularly meaningful about this collaboration: a story that began generations ago in a small village in Ávila is now finding its way back to its roots from Copenhagen, this time to help.

Cigarral El Bosque

There are places where the landscape is as much a part of the experience as the destination itself. El Cigarral El Bosque, set on a historic estate surrounded by olive trees, holm oaks and Mediterranean vegetation, enjoys exceptional views over Toledo’s historic centre from its natural surroundings. A place that reminds us just how closely nature, heritage and tourism are connected as part of the same shared wealth. Hotel Cigarral El Bosque is contributing with a two-night stay with breakfast included to our solidarity raffle. An invitation to discover Toledo, but also to enjoy the landscape that surrounds it and understand the enormous value of preserving it. And that is precisely why this contribution carries a special meaning. Wildfires do not only destroy trees and hectares of land. They damage landscapes, biodiversity, livelihoods and part of the natural heritage that gives our communities both their identity and their economic future. Protecting and restoring these environments also means protecting the communities that live in and depend on them, as well as those who will one day come to discover them. From Toledo, a neighbouring province, Cigarral El Bosque is reaching out to help Ávila. A beautiful reminder that when a region loses part of its natural heritage, borders matter far less than the willingness to help.

Claudia´s paella

Behind Claudia’s Paella is Claudia Navarro Tolosa, who in 2021 turned her passion for cooking into her own small catering project in Copenhagen. Since then, her paellas have brought something to tables and celebrations that goes far beyond rice: that very special way we have of bringing people together through food and turning a meal into a shared moment. For our big event in October, Claudia will be there with us. Her time, her work and her cooking will become part of a day built in exactly this way: by people choosing to contribute what they do best. Pure magic and essence in a paella pan, cooked right there and made to be shared.

Dulce Cocina

With Dulce Cocina, the first impression is almost inevitable: the desserts are spectacular to look at. But Erika’s work begins long before the final presentation and goes far beyond appearance. Every creation reflects dedication, precision and an extraordinary attention to detail, with the aim of making what impresses on the outside even better once you taste it. Her work combines technique and creativity in handcrafted pastry where aesthetics and flavour are equally important. That dedication can be seen in every detail, from the preparation itself to the final finish. Erika will be preparing a selection of desserts that are unlikely to go unnoticed. Hours of preparation, ingredients, work and talent devoted directly to the project. We can’t wait for everyone joining us to discover for themselves why Dulce Cocina catches your eye first and wins you over with its flavour.

K2 Kreativ Kommunication

Some projects begin with an idea and grow thanks to people who choose to bring their experience to the table precisely when it is needed most. Henrik Groth and K2 joined Social Run for Spain 2026 at exactly such a moment. With only a few weeks to turn a solidarity initiative into an event capable of mobilising many more people, Henrik said yes from the very beginning and immediately got to work. K2 is helping us shape our communication, prepare our press launch and find the right way to tell this story so that it can reach the Danish media and, through them, travel much further. Their contribution cannot be displayed on a table or won in a raffle, but it has the potential to multiply the impact of everything else: taking a story that began with a small group of volunteers and bringing it to thousands of people, so that each new person who hears about it can choose to run, share, contribute or help. Because to turn solidarity into action, the story first needs to be heard. Thank you, Henrik and K2, for helping us tell ours.

La Tienda CPH

Behind La Tienda CPH is Charlotte Witthaus and a story that began with her love for Spain, and particularly with her travels to Asturias. Inspired by that connection, she opened her shop in Copenhagen in 2014 and has since been bringing Asturian cider, flavours and a little piece of the region's culture closer to Denmark. For our big event in October, Charlotte is contributing a gift basket filled with Asturian products to our solidarity raffle. A little journey to Asturias through its flavours, giving the lucky winner a chance to discover the region through its gastronomy. And perhaps that is the most beautiful part of her contribution: a Dane who once fell in love with a corner of Spain and is now using that connection to help another. A small story that perfectly captures what we hope to build through this project: bridges between people, places and countries, where connection and affection can be transformed into real support.

Leire Cámara

For Leire Cámara, teaching a language means far more than learning vocabulary or mastering grammar. Trained as a psychologist, her interest in social psychology and psycholinguistics led her to explore how language shapes the way we think, understand the world and connect with others. Her path as a teacher began during her university years, when she was studying languages herself and giving private Japanese lessons. After working on European education projects, she also trained as a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language. When she moved to Copenhagen, she began supporting both people who wanted to learn Spanish and children from bilingual families who needed to keep alive the language that also connects them to their roots. This work carries a particularly personal meaning for Leire. Coming from a Basque family and never having had the opportunity to learn Basque herself, she understands the value of preserving a language and everything that travels with it: stories, culture, identity and distinct ways of understanding life. Now Leire is joining us, sharing a belief that resonates deeply with the project: learning and preserving a language is also a way of building bridges between generations, cultures and countries. Because every new language gives us not only another way to communicate, but also a different place from which to see the world.

Lys Rengørring

Some contributions make a difference exactly where we appreciate it most: at home. Through Lys Rengøring, Hamys De La Concepcion Rugama Chavarria works with something both everyday and valuable: creating clean, cared-for and welcoming homes. Lys Rengøring is contributing with a 50% off a professional house or apartment cleaning to our solidarity raffle. A wonderfully practical prize you almost get to enjoy twice: first when you discover you've won, and again when you come home and someone else has done the work for you. With her contribution, Hamys is offering something she does best and turning her own work into a concrete way of supporting our cause. Marble

An Iberian ham, a good knife and the time to do things properly. MARBLE CPH specialises in professional ham carving in Copenhagen, mastering a technique where every detail makes a difference to the final result. On our event in October, we will have the chance to see it up close. MARBLE will join us, carving an Iberian paleta live in front of the crowd, slice by slice. Their participation brings something unmistakably Spanish to the programme and something difficult to replace: not only the flavour of Iberian ham, but also the ritual, skill and patience that are part of the way it is carved, served and enjoyed. And this time, there really is not much more to explain. You’ll just have to come and taste it.

Mauro Kitchen / Don Mauro

For Mauro D. Miranda, Peruvian cuisine is culture in motion. A chef and musician, together with Teresa Conde, a dancer, he has developed a project that uses gastronomy, music and dance to showcase the richness and diversity of Peruvian culture in Denmark. And there is plenty to explore in the kitchen. The Mauro Kitchen universe ranges from ceviche, causa and anticuchos to lomo saltado, pollo a la brasa and lesser-known regional dishes, combining Peruvian tradition with their own interpretation. Mauro Kitchen will be joining us and contributing food to the day in October. Mauro and Teresa thus become part of the growing map of people and cultures taking shape around the event. Definitely one to taste.

Miguel Arráiz

There are moments when rebuilding means far more than simply restoring what has been lost. Miguel Arraiz, a Valencian architect and artist, understands the collective dimension of grief and the importance of creating physical or symbolic spaces where people can move through it together. In 2025, he was selected to design Temple of the Deep, the official Burning Man Temple, a large-scale temporary structure in the Nevada desert conceived as a place for community, remembrance and shared grief. Thousands of people left letters, memories and personal objects there before the Temple was burned at the end of the festival. Part of the project also had a direct connection to Valencia, carrying letters and memories linked to the collective grief caused by the devastating DANA floods. Miguel has now chosen to send us a video in support of Social Run for Spain 2026, joining from afar a project that has also emerged in the aftermath of a collective loss: the loss of landscapes, ecosystems and communities affected by the wildfires. His message reminds us of something at the very heart of this initiative: after the fire, it is not enough simply to look at what has been lost. We need to come together, care for what remains and begin rebuilding together. Nature, communities and also that invisible bond that makes a place continue to feel like our own. Thank you, Miguel, for helping us see rebuilding not simply as what comes after loss, but as an act of community and a way of beginning to imagine the future again.

Montse Brasó

Some people have been part of a story from its earliest chapters. Montse Brasó joined us for our previous solidarity events and, for this time, she is back as one of the hosts of the day. She will be one of the voices guiding us through the event, introducing the different performances and activities and, above all, helping bring together everything that so many people have worked to create. Having Montse back carries a special meaning for us. DANAmark Solidaritet was born from seeing what can happen when a community decides to come together and act. Two years later, some of those same people are coming together again to do it once more, this time for the areas affected by the wildfires. New people join, the project grows and the cause changes, but something remains the same: the willingness to show up again when it matters. Thank you, Montse, for being here again.

Numa Accessories

Colour, details and jewellery designed to be combined, mixed and made your own. Numa Accessories is a Danish jewellery brand that designs and handcrafts its pieces in Denmark, playing with different materials, stones and colours. Its collections also draw inspiration from women who have left their mark, translating their stories and personalities into designs made to become part of everyday life. Numa Accessories is contributing with a DKK 150 gift card to our solidarity raffle, giving the lucky winner the chance to choose their favourite piece from the collection. Panca

Eleven years of living and travelling in Peru gave Simon Brammer much more than memories. It sparked a deep fascination with the country’s cuisine, ingredients and extraordinary culinary diversity, which he now brings to the roads of Denmark in his food truck. That is how Panca, Peruvian Rolling Restaurant came to life, a project that has been bringing Peruvian flavours to Denmark since 2016, from street food to fine dining. For our big event in October, Simon will bring Panca and cook for us throughout the day. All profits from his sales will be donated directly to DANAmark Solidaritet. We particularly love this way of contributing because Simon is putting everything that makes his project possible into action: his cooking, his food truck, his time and his work, turning a day of Peruvian gastronomy into tangible support for the recovery of the areas affected by the wildfires in Spain. Peru, Denmark and Spain coming together around food and a shared cause. That too is solidarity without borders.

Pelvic Flow

Some professional projects begin with a personal question. For Tania Ramos, it started with the need to understand recurring pain for which, despite consulting different specialists, she was unable to find satisfactory answers. That search eventually led her career towards specialised pelvic floor physiotherapy and, years later, became Pelvic Flow. From Copenhagen, Tania works in an area of health that for far too long has been surrounded by a lack of awareness or simply silence: pelvic pain, endometriosis, incontinence, pregnancy and postpartum care, pain during intercourse and other pelvic floor conditions. Her approach combines physiotherapy treatment with knowledge and practical tools that help people better understand their own bodies. Pelvic Flow is contributing with a gift card to our solidarity raffle, offering the opportunity to experience Tania’s specialised work. Moving well also begins with understanding and taking care of our own bodies.

Pepita Rohde + Andrée Petersen

Some music needs very little explanation to tell you where it comes from. A guitar, a voice, a rhythm... and suddenly Spain feels a little closer. Pepita Rohde and Andrée Petersen have been part of Denmark's flamenco scene for decades. Their paths first crossed in the early 1990s through Copenhagen's El Duende flamenco association, although it was in 2014 that they began the artistic collaboration that continues today. As a duo, they have chosen to explore flamenco in one of its most essential forms: one voice and one guitar, stripped back to let the singing, rhythm and emotion tell the story. Their relationship with flamenco has not been shaped in Denmark alone. Pepita, a singer and dancer, has taken part in flamenco gatherings and competitions in places including Jerez and Seville and has shared the stage with numerous Spanish and Nordic artists. Andrée has taken his guitar into flamenco circles in Madrid, Jerez and Cádiz, accompanying both singers and dancers over many years. Pepita and Andrée will share their music with us at the event we are hosting in October. We are particularly happy that flamenco will have its place on this day too. Because carrying a culture far from home is not only about preserving it. It is also about sharing it, allowing new audiences to discover it and letting it continue to create connections wherever it is heard. So, one guitar and one voice will make a piece of Danmark sound just a little more like Spain.

Pintxos

In the heart of Copenhagen, Pintxos has spent years doing something that many Spaniards living far from home particularly appreciate: creating a place where the flavours, atmosphere and Spanish tradition of gathering around a table make Spain feel just a little closer. From its restaurant in Nansensgade, Pintxos serves authentic Spanish specialities prepared by Spanish chefs, in an atmosphere where the Spanish staff also help bring a little piece of Spain to Copenhagen. Pintxos is contributing with a DKK 1,000 gift card to our solidarity raffle. An invitation to sit down, share and enjoy a good meal, while this time making that experience part of a greater cause. We celebrate many things around a table. This time, we also celebrate the fact that from Copenhagen we can come together to help people and places a little further away.

Pollitos

A language is also learned through play, singing, making up stories and, above all, sharing it with others. That is an important part of the philosophy behind Pollitos, a project created in Copenhagen for children growing up between different languages and cultures, helping them keep Spanish alive and build their own connection to it. Since 2020, Pollitos has grown into much more than a language school: a meeting place for families where language, roots, culture and community are learned by living them, with play and creativity always at the heart of the journey. For Social Run for Spain 2026 Pollitos will be joining us with a special activity for the little ones in Fælledparken. Because if this is truly going to be a day about community, they need their own space to take part, have fun and discover that helping others is something we can learn from a very young age.

Psykolog Cristina Motoro

Living far from home often means learning to build new connections without losing those that keep us connected to our roots. Cristina Montoro, a licensed psychologist in Denmark and integrative psychotherapist, knows these processes well and has made them an important part of her work in Copenhagen. In her practice, she offers therapy in Spanish, English and Danish, working among others with people living between countries and cultures who are searching for a sense of belonging. It is also a theme she has explored through workshops and collaborations, including with Casa de España. For our initiative, Cristina is contributing a gift card to our solidarity raffle. Her support reminds us of something that resonates deeply with this project: feeling at home is not only about where we live, but also about the connections we choose to preserve and build. And this time, one of those connections leads from Denmark back to Spain to help.

Pulpo

At Pulpo, the kitchen is not particularly interested in borders. Its starting point lies in Southern Europe, especially Spain and Italy, but along the way, Latin American flavours and influences also find their way onto the menu. In the kitchen is Peer, a chef with experience from Michelin restaurants abroad and an approach firmly rooted in quality ingredients, technique and seasonality. The result is a menu that evolves with the seasons, blends different influences and leaves room for creativity, with dishes where both the ingredients and the way they are treated take centre stage. Pulpo is contributing with an exclusive four-course menu for two to our solidarity raffle. A complete gastronomic experience and one of those prizes worth setting aside an entire evening to enjoy.

Spanish con Rosa

There are many ways to bring Spain closer to Denmark, and Rosa Nohález has chosen to do it through something we carry with us wherever we go: our language. Born in Albacete, Rosa discovered her passion for teaching Spanish almost by chance during her university years. After spending time in Cambridge, she moved to Copenhagen in 2020 and, a year later, created Spanish con Rosa, her own project built around a warm, engaging approach to learning Spanish and gaining the confidence to actually use the language. Since then, she has built a community around Spanish where students not only learn to communicate, but also come closer to the culture and the people behind the language. Now Rosa and Spanish con Rosa are also joining our initiative. And we particularly love having them with us because this project is precisely about creating connections across languages, cultures and borders, and discovering how much we can build together when we understand one another.

Temporada Tapas & Vin

At Temporada Tapas & Vin, much of the experience has a name of its own: Elo. From his small restaurant on Åboulevard, he cooks, welcomes his guests and plays with Spanish tapas in his own distinctive way, changing dishes, experimenting with combinations and making sure a visit is not necessarily quite the same the next time around. And the formula seems to work. Guests returning to Temporada talk as much about the food as they do about the warm, personal way Elo welcomes and guides his guests, his own interpretations of tapas and the curiosity of discovering what he has come up with this time. Now Elo has chosen to reserve one of those experiences for our project: Temporada Tapas & Vin is donating a dinner for two to our solidarity raffle. What will be on the menu when the time comes? We’ll happily leave that to Elo.

TOMATO

TOMATO has the materials for you to create something beautiful. That sums up rather well the journey of a company that, since 2003, has made creativity, jewellery and crafts its natural territory. From Gentofte, TOMATO brings together thousands of jewellery components, stones, crystals and materials for anyone who enjoys creating, from someone making their very first piece to designers and professionals. But an important part of TOMATO’s identity also lies in its people: in the advice they give, the skills they teach, the knowledge they share and their ability to help an idea find its way from imagination into something real. TOMATO is also entering a new chapter. With Kristian and Mathilde at the helm, a new vision is taking over, building on everything created over more than two decades while bringing their own perspective on what TOMATO can continue to be and create in the future. TOMATO is contributing with 3 gift cards to our solidarity raffle and also providing some of the tableware we will use to serve food and drinks during the event, practical support that helps make this essential part of the day possible too. Trío Eminente

Henri Benítez, Lisandro Bienes and Yeziel Lazo are three Cuban musicians based in Denmark who use music to keep their roots alive and share them with others. Double bass, guitar, percussion and vocals come together in a repertoire that embraces Cuban musical tradition, their own compositions and interpretations of iconic songs from Buena Vista Social Club. The three also bring impressive individual careers, ranging from the DR Big Band to international collaborations and the Afro-Cuban All Stars. Trio Eminente will be giving us their music for the event we will host in October. Because although this project was born from a difficult situation, we want to build it around the exact opposite: community, generosity, joy and the determination to keep moving forward. And few things bring all of that together as quickly as music.

Trypical Cumbia

From the Colombian coast to the Andes, from the Caribbean to the streets of Copenhagen. Trypical Cumbia is a musical collective born from a mix of cultures, rhythms and backgrounds, with cumbia as their meeting point and a fairly simple philosophy: once they start playing, standing still becomes rather difficult. Their music travels across Latin America through rhythms and songs from Colombia, Chile, Nicaragua, Peru and Brazil, blended with their own compositions. A vibrant, multicultural and festive mix that turns every concert into a place where very different people end up sharing the same rhythm. For our event in October, Trypical Cumbia is contributing exactly what they do best: music, energy and the joy of celebrating together. They will join us helping turn the event into a true celebration of connection and solidarity. Because after helping, eating and coming together, there should also be dancing. And few things capture the spirit of this day better than people from different places finding the same rhythm and, quite literally, moving in the same direction.

VOLVER kaffe og vinbar

VOLVER is a small café and wine bar in Nørrebro built around something very simple: meeting up, sharing a drink, having a bite to eat and staying for a while. Wines from Spain, Argentina and Italy, coffee from Peru, tapas, and that blend of cultures that creates places with a character all their own in Copenhagen. VOLVER is contributing with a tortilla and a clarita for two to our solidarity raffle. A wonderful prize: sitting down together, raising a glass and enjoying one of those little moments that taste just a bit like Spain. And this time, we particularly love the name. Because, in a way, our project is also about returning: turning our attention back to the affected areas, helping restore what has been lost and making sure their villages can continue to be places always worth coming back to.

Ris paella

For Eva Gallart López, a Valencian and founder of Ris Paella, paella is much more than a dish. It is culture, tradition and a way of bringing people together around a table. From Denmark, she works to keep that tradition alive, using the techniques and ingredients that belong to authentic Valencian paella. And she does it at an extraordinary level: in 2025, Eva represented Denmark at the World Paella Day Cup in Valencia, where she achieved 4th place among competitors from 12 countries. Ris Paella joins Social Run for Spain 2026 by sharing her food, her time and that very Spanish tradition of creating community around a meal. A contribution that means a great deal to us because Eva brings much more than gastronomy to the event: tradition, togetherness and a little piece of Valencia cooked right here in Copenhagen.
