Denmark and Spain meet again.
After more than 200 people came together in Fælledparken for Social Run for Spain, we knew we weren't finished.
On 25 October, DANAmark takes the next step. A new day of music, culture, food, sport, families and solidarity — all under one roof.
Some of the programme is ready. Some of it we're still keeping quiet.
FROM THE PARK TO KB HALLEN
From the park to KB Hallen.
The Social Run showed us what can happen when people are given a reason to come together.
People arrived for a 5 km run and stayed for the music, food, conversations and atmosphere.
So we asked ourselves a new question: what happens if we take that feeling and give it more space?
On 25 October, KB Hallen becomes the setting for the next DANAmark experience. A place where Denmark and Spain can meet again — this time through more than a run.
THE IDEA
Not just an event.
We want to create a day where people can move between different experiences.
You might come for live music.
Stay for Spanish food.
Bring your children.
Discover something new.
Meet someone you otherwise wouldn't have met.
Or simply spend a few hours in a room where Denmark and Spain feel a little closer.

WHY WE'RE DOING IT
The reason behind the day.
The event supports the work connected to RENACE Ávila and the recovery of communities affected by the fires.
But we also want to bring Ávila into Copenhagen through its people, food, culture and stories.
Solidarity should feel like something people can experience, not simply something they are asked to finance.
